Giovanni's Gems by betsoft

You step into a hidden cave, where dark walls suddenly light up with flashes of red, blue, and purple. With Giovanni's Gems, the treasure hunt feels like an energetic arcade quest, set in a mysterious forest where every spin can trigger a new shower of uncut gems.

This Betsoft slot bursts with vibrant energy and color. There’s no fixed path or boring routine: you move through a secret cavern full of shifting hues, guided by Giovanni, a sharp-eyed gem hunter. The whole experience gives you an instant sense of progress, as if each spin unlocks a new level in an underground adventure.

A cascading grid built for momentum

The game board is a big, dynamic 7x7 grid designed for visual chain reactions. Here, you’re not following classic paylines. Instead, the game uses a cluster system: when 5 or more matching symbols touch each other, you win.

This mechanic keeps the pace lively, winning symbols vanish to make room for new ones. The grid reshuffles, fresh combos can form, and the session stays fluid, just like a well-timed chain reaction.

So you get a super direct experience:

form groups of 5 or more matching symbols
watch the winning symbols explode
let new symbols drop into the grid
hope for another wave of combos in the same flow

Coal, diamonds, and brilliant transformations

One of Giovanni's Gems' trademarks is how it turns the ordinary into something precious. During paid spins, any Coal symbol next to a winning group gets compressed into a Diamond, the game’s most valuable symbol.

This changes how you read the grid completely. A dark corner can suddenly become high-voltage territory as diamonds boost both the visual tension and your urge to keep the cascade going. Another cool twist: Diamonds don’t need to be next to each other to trigger a win, so there’s always an extra layer of surprise.

Giovanni’s free spins

When 5 or more Giovanni symbols appear anywhere on the grid, the Giovanni's Free Spins feature activates. This special round really makes you feel like you’ve unlocked a secret room after making solid progress.

During free spins, Diamond symbols replace lower-paying Coal ones. The setting keeps its electric glow but with even bigger win potential on screen. Every symbol drop feels like its own little quest, the thrill of pushing further into your exploration.

With clusters, explosions and dazzling transformations everywhere, this slot is fast-paced, accessible and super visual. If you love hidden treasure themes, chain reactions and sessions that ramp up without delay, Giovanni's Gems fits right in with PlayOne’s next level casino experience.
